I have met so many wonderful friends here in blog land... those friends have been that nudge I needed to get me going. Lori Boyd... you have been so supportive and wonderful to me my friend! I can't think of anyone in my whole life being so kind and dear to me without any strings attached! You have inspired me, given me the courage, and I just love you to pieces! There is nothing I wouldn't do for you!
Lisa, your friend ship and devotion is worth it's weight in gold! I look forward to our crops, I feel so anxious and like a little kid in a candy store as I am driving to our crops because I know I am going to see my friend Lisa! You too were the friend I prayed for so many times! I am so glad we found each other!
Catherine, you are far away, but I have you in my thoughts constantly! We seem to have bonded and it's a bond I don't want to let go of! You too gave me the encouragement I needed for my ventures in the making! I know that I can count on you when needed... unless it's to pick up some pizza or margaritas for me cause well you are not just around the corner! None the less, I know I can count on you!
There are so many more of you that have encouraged and inspired me... Kellie Winnielle told me why not! Kristy Young said, "Girl you need to" my Oh Alice gals with their kind words toward my art and drawings! Jen, you showed me I can do this... you too are a working mom, and an awesome artist, and I was so inspired and in awe with you and what you do!
Of course there is that home unit that never fails me! My husband so supportive and helpful. He would lasso the moon for me! He has been there with me at the start of my store and held my hand as I shut the doors the first time. Back again supporting me at the start of the new/re-opening of the second store!
My kids, so understanding and marvelous! Those kids will go above and beyond for me... I know many of you have kids that would do the same, but I wish you could all see what I mean. Rio always hanging with me as I craft and create... poor baby sometimes half asleep, head hung over snoozing... but won't skip a beat! Keeping me awake on our drives home from crops!
My son Christian, he is quite the little artist himself. I love sitting with him and drawing... he's such a critic! LOL. Always makes me giggle, at times when I am most down he starts being silly just to make me laugh. Such a charmer!
Jude, my little man... his smile just sends me to the moon! I can tell he too will be my little partner in some crimes!
Okay, so with all that said I would like to introduce you to: Simply Betty Stamps... meaning just that! Anyone that knows me or takes a look at my blog and style can say, "That's Betty's style!" My own stamp line will bring just that thought into your head... hence Simply Betty Stamps! I am looking forward to this new venture with open arms and lots of excitement!
Simply Betty Stamps is opening June 1st! Website is being created as we speak, artists being added for a variety of styles, and my hand hurts from drawing all day and night at times to create fun and funky stamps to my lines! I am starting very slow of course as many of you can image it takes money to make money, and of course a reputation to build and so on.
SO, if you have gotten this far in my ramble-Thank you! Here is just three of the stamps that are coming at Simply Betty Stamps! I hope you will love them as much as I do and hope you can find them a home in your craft room!
Hugs to you all!
See and this is what I mean, in the hour it took me to start this post Lori was being sneaky and making this for me to show off... so instead of a black and white to sneaky peaky at... here is one of the first of my characters... Christian by Lori Boyd!
