A SIMPLY Amazing Blog Hop

WOWIE... have I got something special to share with you all.  Today as I was getting ready to head out and rub my errands I got a text message from Lisa, one of my dearest friends.  She texts me "Take a look at Eulanda's blog. You've got to see this."  SO I stop applying my make up, I was about half way through.  I ran over to Eulanda's blog and it took me a moment to get it.  It was a blog hop... I thought, "Oh good grief I goofed, I forgot about a hop and I am so screwed, I totally suck at this!"  But wait I hadn't set a blog hop for today and it's for Simply Betty... not the shop, or the blog or anything but ME simply ME Betty!

Was that the most wonderful surprise or what!!!  OMG I was so touched, tears started streaking down my face!  I had to redo my whole make up cause as I hoped along as saw all the beautiful creations the gals from Simply Betty Stamps, Simply Betty Challenges, and The Burtonesque Dolls put together I was just so emotional and over joyed!  Eulanda put the whole thing together and all the gals participated and I am just so thankful.... and I know I am rambling and there are more than usual run-on sentences (one of my husbands peeves with me) but I am just sooooo excited and happy!

Please check out the whole Blog hop starting here with Eulanda!  You are in for a treat!  I sure was it was like Halloween Morning and the Great Pumpkin had arrived!

Here is the complete blog hop order too for your viewing and hoping pleasure:

Have fun everyone I sure did!  Please leave my gals a comment they did such an amazing job!!

This blogging world of ours...

Isn't it amazing how a few cards, some fun techniques, and a blog can bring people together?  Turning pen pals into friends, friends into sisters at heart... I am so happy I started this venture a year ago.  Ooops... seems I missed my own blog-aversary!

I want to tell you all something you may already know... I believe that us crafters are the kindest, most caring ladies around.  Although miles away, it is so uplifting to see how many of us will come together to help one another in anyway possible.  We share laughter everyday as we read each other's funny stories on a daily basis, send cyber hugs and imaginary soup when one is sick.  It's a most unique camaraderie I feel pulls us all close to each other.

There are times in our lives when we all feel down, we all have a tragic experience or a traumatic event.  I have unfortunately experienced a great loss recently.  Many of you may have known that I was expecting.  I lost my baby this past weekend.  It was very hard, depressing and I couldn't see the light.  My husband emailed my DT members... to be more exact my friends.  My friends all came together to help me with my blogs and my business in any which way they could.  That is the most beautiful gift I have thus far received  from friends I have not yet had the pleasure of meeting face to face yet... well some that is.  I have had the pleasure of meeting some of my gal pals, while I hope to meet each and everyone I have come close to from  this fun and wild blogging world.

Lisa braved the mountain and brought me these wonderful flowers!  Aren't they just breath taking?  I talk to them, it's too funny... I have never been a plant person, only because I am afraid of killing them... but I am going to keep these forever!  Eventually scrapbooking them.

My kooky kids tried cheering my up with gifts as well... they know how much mommy loves socks.  They asked my husband to take them to the mall while I rested, which is an hour and a half drive one way, to get these for me...

Gloria mailed me this wonderful card that will also go into my scrapbooks, the sentiment inside was beautiful... "When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure."

I wish I could fit all my gals at TBD, SBS and SBC in my scrapbooks as they all rallied up and helped anywhere and everywhere they could.  Just the support, warm wishes and prayers I received from them and everyone else was just uplifting.  I couldn't do it with out all of you girls!  I look forward to an everlasting friendship with you all.  You are all quality ladies and I will always want to be a part of you girls!

Christy Croll of Tiddly Inks, Carol of Stampotique, Lori Boyd, and just so many sent out wonderful supportive emails that helped me feel the love and friendship.  Again ever lasting friendships!

Vicki thank you for being there and ready to talk should I need to, Lady B same goes for you... thank you for the offer of talking things out.  I am so grateful for the offers.

Thank you all so much for all of your support.  I can't say it enough!  It is truly a blessing to know each and everyone of you!  I am once again so grateful that our paths have crossed!

Lots of love and respect to you all,

Betty

Witchy little girl...

Is this the cutest little Witch you have ever seen?  This is my Rio when she was about 6 years old!  It was our second Halloween in Big Bear Lake, and we were actually evacuated due to the fires that year October 20th.  So, we ended up Trick-Or-Treating down in L.A. where grandma lives.  We were allowed to come home Nov. 2nd.  Up here in the mountains we don't have a lot of neighbors it's a resort town.  So, the kids do their Trick-or-Treating in the Village... a shopping spot for the tourists.  All the businesses there and around the valley set up their store and extra booths with loads of candy for the kids to Trick-or-Treat.  Since we were evacuated and didn't get to do the Trick-or-Treat at the Village on October 31st, the community decided we should still have it the Friday of the week we got to come home!  SO the kids ended up doing two Trick-Or-Treat runs that year!  It was really fun for them and they got to use their costume twice!  Okay okay I am rambling... here is the Canvas I made for that year to put on my wall...

I used all K& Company papers, swirls from Prima Marketing, stars from Button Co. and the image from Betty Belfry from  Tiddly Inks!  The title is cut our from Mickey Font on the Cricut and Diamond Glazed.  The gate is a MS punch. The swirls on the moon the Tiddly Inks image are from Impression Obsession.  I hope you enjoy it!

Happy Wednesday...SDC15: Birthday Theme using ANY stamps

Or how Pooh would say it "Winds Day" it sure is windy up here in the beautiful mountains.  We took the Judester out for our morning walk lake side and it was a chilly one!  He said "Mommy...brrr!"

So today we have a Birthday Challenge from Stampotique Designer's Challenge!  Woot woot!  I had to go Happy Creepy with this one!  I love Happy and Creepy all rolled up into one!  You have to check out all the new stuff over at Stampotique it is awesome!  But before you head over there please stop by the Stampotique Designer's Challenge blog and enter your Birthday card for a chance to win one awesome gift certificate for Stampotique!  With all the new stuff they have in store you won't want to miss the chance on being the winner!  SO onto my card...

I used Pearl as my main gal, and Heads for a background.  I was going for a kind of stand out in front of the crowd look.  You know party people all around, but Pearl just wants cake!  Ooooh that sounds good!  I love Birthdays, love over doing it and love the cake!  I used 8 Copics to color this in can you believe it... usually it's a list that goes on and on for coloring, but I wanted to keep this simple.  The side lace up is with MS Punch and the lace is from JoAnn Fabrics.  The bottle cap, eyelets, and swirls were just knick-knacks   I found in my "metals" embellies.  The felt flower is from Queen and Co. I used Stayz On ink let it dry then stamped the skullie from The Cat's Pajamas with white Stayz On, then Diamond Glazed it!  The grey paper was embossed with a Swirl folder from Cuttle Bug.  Those cute grey and lime skulls are found at my store, hand made by Creepy Glow Bug.  The sentiment is all my own, with my own hand writting.  Hope you enjoy!

I loved this color combo for a Birthday card!  Hope you enjoy it.  Don't forget to skip on over to Tiddly Inks Challenges blog and check out all the rest of the aweseome Birthday goodness!

Double Whammy Release Blog Hop!!!

Hiya everyone!  Thank you for hoppin' by!  As you all know, today I have a Double Release for you all!  Halloween being my favorite Holiday I am ready to craft into the night with many new images coming your way!

But to start you off I have Jude and his Shenanigan Crew and Punky Teens.  Both lines in their Halloween costumes collecting Tricks and Treats!

Today I have FrankenJude.... just like my little guy this cutie is ready to reach out and hug ya!  The paper is from The Paper Loft.  I made this really simple as I had so much more going on and to get ready!  I cut slits on both sided of Frankentstein to slip in a torn piece of the same paper and help both Frankensteins pop out.  I thought it would be a great Daddy and I card for my Jude and my husband Chris.  Around here, we give out Halloween cards and presents as if it were Christmas!  I know I am a bit nuts, but then so are many of that I call friends!  You have to be to like my style right?  Hee hee!  I hope you enjoy my card and don't forget to hop on over and leave your comment on the Simply Betty Stamps blog for a chance to win! Of course I would love some comments as well and again Thanks!
