Halloween is Hoppin' in July!

Welcome everyone to our Halloween in July Tiddly Inks Blog Hop!  Woot woot!  Of course you all know how much I loooove Halloween so when Christy agreed to do this awesome hop I was sooo excited!  Christy was so awesome to make new Halloween images for you all to enjoy and play along!  If you haven't seen them yet head on over to TiddlyInks.com and check out all the new Halloween images!

Now onto the hop!  You all can still join in on the hop today, however you have until 6pm CST to add your creation and be a part of it by loading it onto InLinkz at the Tiddly Inks Challange Blog, although I know this is where you came here from.  Just in case you just came to my blog by chance,  head on over to Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog for all the details!  In the meantime here are my fun Halloween cards and the order of the hop is listed below, the person you will hop on over to see from my blog is Caz!  Have fun Hoppin' along!

For my first card I used Batty Bug, the paper is from Pine Cone Press, the bat stamp I used to make the pink background paper is from Stampin' Up.  The mesh hot pink fabric is from JoAnn Fabrics. The Happy Halloween die cut is from Lil' Monsters cricut cartridge.  I loved using this color combo for a Halloween card!

On my second card I used Franco Boto.  And I went a little cricut crazy again with the Lil' Monsters cartridge!  The house, the trees, and the tombstones were all done with the cricut.  The paper was last year's Halloween paper from Michaels.

My third card, but not the final one (I will be posting two more tomorrow and the next day) has Betty Belfry!  With an awesome name like that I had to feature her ya know!!  The paper is Basic Grey's Eerie collection from last year.  I used Labels 10 Spellbinder Nestie.  The Cauldron and the Cat in the center of the bow are from a Halloween buttons pack I bought years ago, and the bubbles from the cauldron are Zwarvoski Crystals.  The Ribbon is from JoAnn Fabrics. The sentiment is Stampin' Up.

Check back tomorrow for more cards!  I hope you enjoy yourself taking a stroll around the blogs!

Back again for more Simply Betty?

I am so glad you have all come back for a third day of sneak peaks and fun cards!  Whew!  Am I a card making fool or what this week?  I am having a blast with my own stuff!  Is that legal?  Hee hee.  Okay so here is my Christian, as you all know he and Rio and Betty are close to my heart cause they were designed to match us.  Of course I do not have that Betty Bombshell Body  ...errr anymore... perhaps in another life again one day... but three kids later does something to ya!  Anyhow I am getting off subject here!  I just loooved coloring him up and designing this card around his surfboard/flames and skull motif!  I found this awesome fabric at WalMart and as soon as I saw the fabric I just knew I had to use it on him!  Oh man and the VersaMark with the shimmer in it made that skull and DUDE just look super awesome!!!

So, what do you all think of the Summer Emos so far?  Are they as cute as the first set?  Wanna see more themes in the Emos?  I hope so cause I have more in the following months!  In the meantime I can't wait to see what you all do with these cuties in the next month or so before the next Emo release!  Don't forget to check out the Simply Betty Stamps blog to see what other fun creations the team has in store for you!

Tiddly Inks Challenge #12

Time for some fun in the sun!  This cute little image reminded me so much of my little Rio... well she's not so little anymore but still reminded me of her when she was small and chubby and snuggly!  She's still all that only bigger!  So this week, as you can see your challenged to create a card or project with fun a fun summer theme... think water toys, floaties, and soaking up the sun at the beach or by the pool!

Tiddly Inks has many wonderful summer digis for you all to choose from and join in on the fun!  So hop on over to Tiddly Inks Challenge blog and check out the rest of the DTs creations! Get inspired to play along and please don't forget to leave the Tiddly Inkers some love!

My little guy had loads of fun in the sun on 4th of July... see the picture below... he wanted to cuddle with mommy and watch a movie after a long day of playing on the lake side beach area, food, and fireworks but was just too tuckered out.  He attempted to put away daddy's sandals and pick a movie, and was making his normal little humming noises he makes when getting ready to choose a movie and relax when it all went quiet.  It took daddy and I about 10 minutes to wonder where Jude was with the movie... so we found him!
