All things Altered Blog Hop!!!

It's the time of the year....my favorite time....Fall/Halloween!! YEAH!!!!

I have turned an ordinary wine box into this for my sister....




I have used Marie back from death from my store found here: Zombies and Creeps

The wine bottle was from the local market, they happen to have them just sitting next to the Wine isle.

The house, bats, and skull on the lid of the box is Tim Holtz Grunge board embossed with black and lime twinkle embossing powders by Judykins

The skeleton hand and glitter spider is from Michaels in their Halloween goodies.

Hung up on Steampunks...

It's been a long time since I've posted here, but I do miss posting my little creations and today I have a spectacular one!

I have a new set of images for all you Steampunk lovers!  

The Roberts Portraits!! I made this wall hanging for my Halloween wall in my living room.  It is where all our Halloween altered canvases are hanging.  It's the biggest wall in the living room dedicated to our favorite time of the year Halloween!  And it's Halloween 365 days of the year at House of Roberts!

All the paper used is from Echo Park, Chillingsworth Manor.  The plaques I picked up at Michael's along with all the little Steampunk embellishments.

Here's a slightly closer look at the top plaque with Roberts letters embellished and steampunked out!  Mrs. Roberts and Mr. Roberts Portraits are on this one too.

New Release! 12 fun images!


Happy Friday!  I am so glad the weekend is almost here!  

Here are all my projects...

First is Material Girl Rio, I looooved using my brand new leopard embossing folder and running my black ink pad over the top, it created enhanced spots yeah? All papers are Bazzill as I did not use any printed paper. The green with the skulls is also stamped!



Rockin' Heavy Metal Jude is ready to rock your world!  The paper is very old, from 2007 Teresa Collins for Junk Itz, I loved this paper so much that when I ordered it for my shop (back when I first opened my first scrapbook store) I only put out half of the entire line for sale and the other half I kept for myself!  I have used this line on many of my son's layouts!



Now I have Cool Chick Lola!  She is like totally from the 80s!  The background paper is from DCWV, an 8x8 School Paper pad!


Cool Dude Christian is Lola's pal from the 80s!  The paper is also from the same 8x8 paper pad.


Shoot Em' Up Chris, again a very old BoBunny Valentine Paper line from 2007!  It was just so perfect for this image!  I usually tend to color my image first before I figure out my paper, luckily this fit
 like a glove!    


Flappin Betty, same BoBunny Line!


Victorian London...another very old line from Making Memories, the bottom strip I used is awesome, it actually has that flower cut out!  This way the background paper shows through!  How cool is that!?!



Victorian Miller, again same Making Memories papers.  The Mustache and Top hat are from a new Sizzix Dies set!  I can't believe I bought them and have already used them!  Usually, as you can tell with my paper, it's years before my stuff gets used lol!


Space Girl Lola, this project is one of my favorites!  These cute little treat bags (available in my store as well) are a perfect way to create a cute and fast little treat for a special someone!  This one is going to my son's counselor at school.  I have filled them with fruit flavored Tootsie Rolls!  The paper is from Echo Park, about three Summers ago, maybe two.


Space boy Christian, with BoBunny's Blast Off! paper collection.  


and finally 50s Chris and 50s Betty the images were merged together for my project, but they are sold separately.  The paper is from the same 8x8 school pad from DCWV, but the red strip on the bottom was again hand stamped using a stamp from a Stampendous clear set.


I hope you have enjoyed all of my projects, I can't believe that for the first time in many, many, many months I have colored AND created a card, tag, or project with all of them.  I hardly ever get a chance to do it all from start to finish...phew!  I am tired, BUT!  Time to start sketching out the next lines!  Whoohoo!

All Things Altered-Spring Hop!

Happy Friday and Happy Spring!

I for one and happy that it's finally thawing out up here on our little mountain! Of course I am not looking forward to the heat following the Spring but the sun does start to feel good when out and about.

Today I have altered yet another Hat... using a slightly Halloweenish image, but giving it more of a Spring feel to it!  I have used my Steampunk image Creator and Monster from artist Abigail Larson.  Colored them as bright as I could (bright for me anyway) and added Tattered Angels to the grungboard and hat itself.  Here is my hat from start to finish...

A bucket of Valentines/Halloween goodies


Welcome to our Valentine Bucket Swap!  We have these fun swaps during Holidays and some just for fun going on over at our Simply B Stamps Facebook fan group.  We have had such a blast with all swaps!  I have been spoiled each and every exchange and this one was no different!  Barb Ettinger was my partner and she mad me smile from ear to ear!  I got soooo much awesomeness!!!!

Crafting for fun...

Yep, I did it... I crafted for fun and just to have me time!  I miss my crafting for fun time, it seems I am always sketching, inking, promoting and going 100 MPH!  Although I do love my little business, I did start it for the love of crafting and it's finally time to get back to that aspect of it as well!

Today I three fun cards, don't know who they will be for and the gun part is that they don't have to be meant for anyone at the moment!  It was as I said, just fun!

I have used my Luscious Lucy Beach Zombabe on this one, the colors are:
                                                           Hair: RV13, RV25, RV29
Skin: BV20, E11, E21, E51, E13
Bandana: C3, B21, B24, B26
Lips: R05, R47
Eyes: YG01, YG23, YG25, YG67 for the eyeshadow N3, N5, N7  

The paper is from Echo Park Be Mine collection, Bazzil Basics cardstock, 
and the ribbon is from 3 Girl Jam.

Roses: R05, R08, R46 and colorless Blender for blending it all in.
