Tiddly Inks Challenge #11

Time for a color combo for Tiddly Inks!

Red, White, and Blue is the theme and fun, fun, fun is the game!  This week I used Gossmere for my image found at Tiddly Inks.com!  Isn't she the cutest little thing!  She is the Queen of Freedom bringing love and joy to all!  I used some very old BoBunny and Adornit papers, star brads are also from my old stash, and the ribbon from Creative Impressions.  The Sentiment is a very old Stampin' Up Set... I think I bought it like 7 years ago!  Wow!  When you say it like that... The Pink Elephant Scrapbook Challenge #13

Hello all you happy Scrappers! 

 

Today The Pink Elephant Scrapook Challenge is challenging us to add photos with pockets, flippers, accordion minis, or other fun and creative ways!  

Here is my double page layout.  I added chipboard tags, embellished them and did my journaling on them.  I then attached them with hinges.   The paper is from on old K& Company line for Girl Scouts.  The Hinges are from Daisy D's which have gone out of bussiness :(.  The ribbon again Creative Impressions, I know I love that ribbon so much I use it quite a bit.  The heart clips on the flip tags are unknown.  The title Happiness is using the Tear Drop font on the Cricut.  Hope you like the layout thanks for stopping by.  Please be sure to check out the rest of the ladies creations over at The Pink Elephant!

Tiddly Inks Challenge #10 Embellishments...

Hello everyone!  I am so sorry I have been MIA!  I have been busy busy getting myself healthy, creating new images for Simply Betty Stamps, and just life in general.  But I am back and ready for some fun craftin' time!  SO here we go!  

This week's Tiddly Inks Challenge is Embellishments... Lace and Buttons!  Use both or just one of the two embellishments!  I used my BoBunny Chocolate line lace from years ago.  I loved this new image from Tiddly Inks called Kiss Me!  Isn't she the cutest!  There are many new images over at Tiddly Inks so please hop on over and take a peak!

Simply Betty Stamps Blog Hop and Today's posts...

Hello everyone... so sorry I am running behind on all my posts... as many of you know I have been having some issues with my diabetes, hospitalized for a few days two weeks ago.  I am back to that status tonight. Although do not fret or worry about me... it's due to low sugars this time so much better than extremely high ones!

Tonight it keeps going down, down down... to the 30's now.  SO I want to personally apologize for so much flakeyness (is that a word) lately.  I feel fine, well just shaky and dizzy, but don't give up on me gals! At least you can tell I am following the nutritionists instructions, and keeping to my meds and exercise plans!

Thank you all for being so wonderful and understanding!  To my DT gals on TBD and SBS I couldn't do this without you.  This disease picked the wrong time to pick on me, but all I can do is grab it by the horns and give it a run for it's money ya?

Christy got it all handled before I went down for the count so don't give up on me girl... not that you ever would you are an amazing person!

Kellie... got the post ready for you too at TBD, and you are set to go!

DT Divas Preview #2

Welcome back ladies!  Today I have colored up DT Diva Amy!  I put cupcakes in her hands instead of her Thousand sheets of paper!  Is that not cool or what!  She can go from a scrapbooking/card making Diva to a Birthday diva!

I used My Little Shoe Box paper; Just add Butter.  Took my trusty VersaMark pad and created the fine swirlies you see behind Amy, and used my Celebrations Cricut Cartridge for "It's your Day"!  I loved using this color combo!  You can find the paper in my Simply Betty Stamps store as well as the digi of Amy (paper available now, Amy digi available Tuesday)!  Thank you for stopping by again today see you all tomorrow for the Blog Hop and a chance to win all 6 DT Diva Digis!

DT Divas in da House!

TIddly Inks Challenge #8 - Baby of Mine

Happy Tuesday again everyone!  I have two posts today, one very cute and happy, and the other cute, dark and happy, so please scroll down for The Burtonesque Dolls Challenge.

On to the main event!  This week at Tiddly Inks we are focusing on Babies!  Create a card featuring any Tiddly Inks image and fit for a baby!  How fun and easy is that!?  I choose Prince Charming, cause he reminds me of my little Prince!  The paper is Heidie Grace, the ribbon from Jo-ann's Fabrics, and the embellishments are from my stash and couldn't tell you where I got them... I have had them for so long!  I thought I'd make it cute and simple.  He is ready to travel to San Diego for my friends baby shower!

The Burtonesque Dolls #6

Hello all you Burton fans!  Here we are a new Burton challenge... Final Cut & Shave... can you guess what Burton Film that's from?  If you guessed Sweeny Todd you are correct!  The challenge is to use your favorite decorative scissors, distress tool, and the like!  Make a card inspired by Sween Todd and you are all set to join in on the challenge!  Easy no?  The DT has done a marvelous job, and I have throw in two sweet Rubber stamps from Simply Betty Stamps- the Emo Kids Betty and Miller!

I made my card using Betty, and the colors from Ms. Lovette's outfit.  This is one of my favorite scenes from Sweeny Todd... By the Sea!  

Now here is Betty posing as Ms. Lovette!  I used Cloud 9 Christmas paper, Making Memories Spooky Alley paper.  My Tim Holtz Signs die, and distressed that with my Tim Holtz distress tool.  The punch is from Martha Stewart.  I hope you enjoy!
